WHEN the frost is on the punkin,
and the fodder's in the shock,
And you hear the kyouck and gobble of the struttin' turkey-cock,
And the clackin' of the guineys,
and the cluckin' of the hens,
And the rooster's hallylooyer as he tiptoes on the fence...
--James Whitcomb Riley
Well, Autumn has arrived and is in our midst, and Mother Nature has changed her attire. The leaves have turned and, aided by frenzied squirrels, drift drowsily to the ground. The harvest moon wanes, and the shops boast decorations for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The air is full of birdsong as the titmouse, the chickadee and the nuthatch chatter in the dogwood. The tired old world is bathed in a warm, golden glow, and holds an unearthly splendor. It is now that God looks down upon as and smiles to Himself, for we are blessed with His unending love, peace and grace.

All I can say is "wow".

Yes, Theresa, we are blessed by God's unending grace! Beautiful post, and beautiful picture. Autumn is also my favorite season (although up here in Maine it is quickly turning to winter...BRRR)

Theresa,
What lovely picture of Autumn you have painted!
It inspired a chorus of "Wow, that's really good writing!" from the children at my house. Do you keep a Nature Notebook? If so, this would be a very nice addition to it. We'll enjoy "the warm, golden glow" as we head outside to play this afternoon with your words echoing in our hearts.
Thank you for sharing with us.

That is totally aaizmng on the biopsy failure. Our problems with medicine today isn't just how we pay for it but finding good medical care with doctors who have been with us long enough to know us and then competent. Maybe should be the other way around. I also wish Theresa good luck with this. It is tough and something many of us will face or have. Doesn't make it easier especially with goofs like that.

You are an idiot. Mother Theresa spent her whole life caring for the sick and dying. Would you have done such a thing? Can you even begin to iniagme all the grief and suffering she had to witness? Don't spew sht from your mouth about people you obviously know nothing about. If she gave even 1 human being some comfort and solice during their painful last few hours I would have to consider her a saint.

Hi Chip! Of Course Your future looks brihgt along with Theresa's!! You are joint heirs with Christ. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places amen! You have authority over the demonic stronghold of cancer in Jesus name! God is your divine Stronghold and nothing else or less in Jesus name! Theresa was healed and we receive that healing now for her in Jesus name as she was healed with the stripes Jesus took for us on the cross 2000 years ago! I see her in the light of Christ fully healed and fully alive on earth as it is meant to be in heaven! I thank God daily for your ministry you are so aligned with the Lord on earth to do His will and I know Theresa has had to be a huge support of your work! She is under attack because the devil is such a thief constantly trying to attack the parts of our family that he can .but we stand firm this day wearing the armor of God to stand against all the wiles of satan including cancer. I will continue to confess light and life in the Word over Theresa until full healing has come to her. God is so wonderful and all you have done this year is teach my husband and I what a wonderful faithful sovereign God we serve. He is still ABLE still the GOD of miracles and still fully committed to answer and protect those who diligently seek Him .YOU and THERESA .;0) My 3 year old girl is dancing circles in the kitchen right now singing Chris Tomlin's song indescribable .LOL LOL The miracle Theresa faces will be one that is indescribable to our world but only so much as describable to the God we serve who reigns forever more!!! Be blessed!!! You have helped Gregg and I further our marriage, parenting and relationship with the Lord this year like no other church or person in our entire lives .THANK YOU!!!!!
