"A pox on both your houses!"

This seemed to be the message our catbird delivered to the feuding ants today.

Moments after the children noticed yet another apparent ant skirmish in our battlefield by the edge of the tennis court, the catbird swooped down and began pecking at the ants. Far from sympathetic, the girls thought this was an excellent development in that the hungry catbird will provide yet another gripping character for "The Great Tarantulian Wars."
