This past August, we began a new tradition of hosting a First Saturday Tea in honor of Our Lady at the beginning of each month. It is mostly a small family gathering, but we occasionally have a friend or two to share it with us. Here are scenes from our December Tea, December 3, 2016.

A lovely friend brought a cake to surprise a November birthday girl. They were all so full that we saved the cake for Sunday dessert:

Gluten-free honey cake with strawberries and whipped cream

Caramel apple cider
Egg nog with a dash of nutmeg
