If you are looking for a bit of help with high school math

I highly recommend The Humongous Book of Algebra Problems by W. Michael Kelley.  It is like having a tutor writing notes for you in the margin of an already well-explained text.  Absolutely great.

Amazon is great to let you look inside the book. I think it's just what we need as a supplement.
