Beautiful traditions!! We set up our nativity scene on the first Sunday of Advent.
So nice to see more posting and pics here again!

What lovely traditions!

I love your miniture Jesse Tree ornaments, so beautiful! And an exquisite holy water font, as to getting it up... better late than never, as they say!! (My husband says, "It in the 12 year plan!")

Beautiful as always, Alice. I'm so glad you're posting again - we've missed you!

I am so happy to see you are posting again as well. I have missed you.

Alice, what lovely traditions! I go in big for anything involving candles, so Advent is an exciting time around here, too! I'm also in love with your sing-a-thon. We just do a singularly rousing version of O Come, O Come Emmanuel as part of Dinner Grace.

I probably shouldn't be, but I am encouraged by the fact that sometimes you just "make do" when you can't find what you wanted to use. Sometimes that's the story of my life!!! "If it's good enough for Alice, it's gotta be good enough ... period!!!" :) Of course, the main difference between you and me is that what you come up with is always beautiful just the same. As usual, you inspire, just by being yourself!

Only two years to put up a holy water font? Sounds pretty good to me! I love your mini Jesse tree. What a good idea.
