There's a Little Irish Mother that a lonely vigil
keeps
In the settler's hut where seldom stranger
comes,
Watching by the home-made cradle where one
more Australian sleeps
While the breezes whisper weird things to the
gums
--Father John O'Brien
God sends another precious gift for Christmas, this time to bless the land down under!
Aw! Christmas babies are so wonderful!

Thank you Alice! This little Australian bubs was one most greatly anticipated and prayed for, Chemai has been through a most harrowing ordeal but it has been worth it! Their little Augustine was baptised on Christmas Day by the bishop in their diocese - I am one VERY proud God-mother!!! (Just waiting patiently now for my blessing to arrive...)
