Serendipity!

How wonderful. I love it when the kiddies love the music and dance... and good thinking on the CD ;)

Even better the second time. :-)

It's a shame we've somehow forgotten how to gather, dance, and have fun with good, clean, lively music! I think angels guide you sweetie!

What a great post!

That sounds so wonderful!

That's like something out of a novel. What an amazing experience.

I just loved this post. My grandpa's favorite song was How Great Thou Art...I cry everytime I hear it.

Your time in SF has been almost magical, Alice, with all of the amazing experiences you've encountered. But I think a big part of that is your ability to keep your eyes open to witness the beauty and grace. Most people just walk right by.

And then, not only do you witness it yourself, but you express it all so eloquently here, that you allow us to experience the little miracles as well. You help us to open our own eyes and hearts in our own lives. Thank you, dear Alice!

(Had any good sundaes lately? :) Love to all!)

Oh, Diane, this is exactly what I was going to say! It isn't luck, it's the gift of an open heart, and a heart so generous that we ALL later benefit from these beautiful encounters.

As usual, you are such a superb storyteller. But that's not what I signed in to say, as I've said that time and again (I hope). So often, when I mention San Francisco, people have negative reactions. Yet you go there and offer us positive insights. You must be a real blessing to your family, finding the beautiful wherever you go!

Oh, what a beautiful story, Alice! I could really see your children smiling and dancing to the music!
