Needless to say, we will be praying for her, especially tonight and tomorrow. I thought we should set an alarm for 6:45 am in the morning to remember to pray for Marcy-Marie as she begins her surgery at 7 o'clock. We will light a candle and have the children gather round to pray and hope some of you will be able to join us in this.
The Memorare
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do we come, before you we kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer us.
Amen.
The boys and I will pray a Memorare for Marcy-Marie right now (yes, some of them are still awake :/). And we will hold her in prayer tomorrow as well!
