« A Postcard from the Recluse | Main | If Books Could Kill »

February 20, 2007

I'm logging off right now. Lent is less than an hour away (CA time). Your uncle has my very first Lenten prayers. God bless, Alice!

I'm glad the surgery went well, Alice.

Your post last year about the silent tea kettle still lingers in my thoughts when I think of Lent. I don't I'm strong enough to go all water during Lent, but maybe I need to reconsider.

This is a lovely blog. I am helped by these sharing of family traditions.

I am late chiming in, but I also haven't given up my morning coffee. I am very humbled that children are often able to make such big sacrifices when I am not.
