I have dubbed this photo of Maureen in the sunset, "Maureen's Guardian Angel" or "Catherine in the Arms of Our Lady." Your kind comments about the Prayerful Countenance post have reminded me to share the story behind this dear photograph. A sunny day and six children are calling, so it will need to wait until tonight!
In the meantime, our Robin teaches a lesson on Faith and human nature in The Cottage Garden.
Oh, beautiful and tranquil.
I can't wait for the story. : )

Well, I've learned my lesson--never promise a post at a set time. I spent last night in the ER with Patrick (he's fine--just a terrible gash to the knee) and returned to find my internet connection out! It's back this morning, but that story will need to wait yet again.
Thank you Cay, Mary Beth and Karen for the kind words.
