On Sunday afternoon, we went to the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception to attend Mass with Bishop Brennan and listen to a talk by Dr. Gianna Molla, the daughter of the great Saint Gianna Molla. From the moment she stepped up to the podium, I was overwhelmed by the joy, faith, and goodness of Dr. Molla. She is truly a living image of her mother. Here are some photos of a day we will never forget:
I will start with this one, because it shows my big moment--meeting the dear and wonderful Dr. Molla.
She greeted each and every one of us so warmly.
Four of the girls were there.
Waiting on line to meet Dr. Molla, we saw the beautiful and joyous Sisters of Life. The moment I knew they were there, I started looking at each one, hoping to see . . . .
My cousin, Sister Colleen! Seeing her meant just as much to me as seeing St. Gianna's daughter. I couldn't believe it really.
Here is one more blessing--my four daughters and their friend were asked to bring up the gifts during Mass with Bishop Brennan. (Bishop Brennan's sister was my best friend in college and the godmother of one my girls, so he has a special place in my heart.)
